Crichton Institute from the South
From the M6/A74(M) Northbound, at junction 22, exit toward Dumfries / Stranraer.
Merge onto the A75, and continue for approximately 21 miles.
Once you arrive in Dumfries follow the signs to the Royal Infirmary (A&E) and The Crichton.
Follow the road passing the hospital and the entrance to the Crichton Campus. You will have almost left Dumfries when you come to the main entrance to the carpark of Dumfries & Galloway College. Crichton Institute is situated in the Henry Duncan Building, adjacent to the right of the main Dumfries & Galloway College building. Please use the separate entrance into the Henry Duncan Building to report to Crichton Institute reception.
Crichton Institute from the North
From the A74(M) Southbound, at junction 15, take the A701 exit to Dumfries / Beattock.
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A701 heading to Glasgow / A74(M) / Edinburgh / Dumfries / Beattock.
Proceed under the A74(M), and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit and stay on the A701 heading to Dumfries for the next 18.5 miles.
Continue through two roundabouts (2nd exit for both), the 2nd of which crosses the A75.
Once you arrive in Dumfries follow the signs to the Royal Infirmary (A&E) and The Crichton.
